Kay and Bricks had a fairly specific idea they wanted for this Valentines day release music video and we took that initial idea and built it out to a video themed around wanting to spoil your girlfriend. They wanted it to feel very consumerist and so to build on this I brought in the element of paparazzi style flash photography to mix into the edit. Shooting both video and stills with off camera flash was a juggling act that I couldn’t have done without Aram’s assistance. Using the stills as an editing element was really fun and added a lot of energy to the video. The video was their fastest to hit 50k views on Youtube with a lot of positive praise about the video quality.
