Role: Co Director

For this project Sean Edwards and I teamed up to co direct Oakks first music video “Go”. Together we won the Telus Storyhive music video grant after coming up with a treatment. Sean and I developed the concept, art direction and story and worked with Grant Cooper the Director of Photography to push the visual style. We knew we wanted it to be visually overwhelming and that we wanted to do as much in camera as we could to add a level of viscerality not possible in post.

The story follows a young woman trying to escape an increasingly overwhelming situation that only gets worse the more she resists it. Eventually she lets go and escapes the world she’s trapped in.
